iStick

Devices with touch screens are very popular these days. So there is nothing unusual in the fact that many producers and designers try to integrate them wherever it's possible. However touch sensitive feature does not always ensure the success of a device.

Designer Alexei Mikhailov went further and proposed to create and absolutely innovational device called iStick. He did a lot in convincing people that his concept is the perfect mobile convergence device. Gadget is made in the form of a lipstick tube. As designer points out the iStick is not for viewing movies or photos, because the screen is too small for that. The main characteristic feature of given device is a unique interface design. Thus it has four sides with touch sensitive surfaces and big square icons, which ensure an easy and interesting way to navigate this gadget. Moreover the integrated Wi-Fi enables users to browse iTunes.

As you probably noticed this concept has a lot of similar features with the iPhone. Yet it just a visual replication, so device shouldn't be regarded as a replacement neither for iPhone nor for iPod. It's better to think of it more as another unit of product line of iDevices.
