LG has announced the availability of its latest affordable touchscreen mobile phone, dubbed KP500, in the European market.
“The feedback we receive from consumers around the world indicate that there’s more people who wish to try the latest touch screen phones. We want to reach out to this group and LG KP500 is our answer to deliver a high quality full touch screen phone that is easy to use and much easier to afford. Within reach of many consumers, we hope that more people will experience the joy of using the latest touch screen technology with LG KP500,” mentioned Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
Featuring GSM connectivity, the phone flaunts its compatibility with four frequency bands for a wide reach in reception range. It supports around 39 languages and provides vivid and intuitive user interface for ease of operation.
It comes equipped with 3.0-inch screen, QWERTY onscreen keyboard and auto rotating display for accurate navigation. It also bundles an embedded stylus pen that supports handwriting recognition program for users to easily and quickly write memos and text messages as well as edit images on the screen.
By using the latest UI, users can attach a friend’s photo for the speed dial feature. The KP500 also incorporates motion sensor games that expect users to turn, flip and shift the handset for a more active and fun gaming experience.
Sporting slim-profiled and lightweight, the LG KP500 comes in black, Vandyke brown, Anodizing silver, and Elegant gold.
Although the price has not been revealed, the LG KP500 is scheduled to hit the European market by October.
