Extending the DataTraveler line, Kingston has announced the launch of its latest USB flash drive, called the Mini Slim in the US. The company offers the drives in various color shades such as blue, pink and black.

Bundled with gray bottom casings, it can also be attached to a keychain for easy convenience while carrying in a bag or a purse. Available in dimensions of 1.529″ x 0.645″ x 0.253″ and weighing 0.064 oz, the new DT Mini Slim comes in two storage configurations such as 2 GB and 4GB.

“Kingston USB drives have always provided great functionality by allowing consumers to carry large quantities of information everywhere they go. The DT Mini Slim lets anyone safely store and share their favorite media content everywhere they go with a little class and color, in an ultra-small form factor,” said Jean Wong, Flash memory product manager, Kingston.

This easy-to-use device needs to be plugged into a USB port for transferring important data, videos, music, songs, and photos along with various critical files. This pocket-sized is compliant with Windows Vista, Windows XP (SP1, SP2), Windows 2000 (SP4), Mac OS X v.10.3.x+, and Linux v.2.6.x+.

Coming with a two-year warranty, Kingston’s new DataTraveler Mini Slim USB drives are available for $11.00 for 2 GB and $19.00 for 4 GB.
