Backyard Babies Limited Edition Neonode N2 Touch-Screen Phone Unveiled

Neonode has partnered with Backyard Babies to release the Limited Edition Neonode N2 multimedia touch screen phone.

The handset features the new and self named hit album, “Backyard Babies,” and other multimedia content like music video, bonus track and numerous ringtones and Backyard Babies themes.

“The Neonode N2 is a real odd bird compared to its competitors, but that’s just what we like. The N2 has a cool design and an alternative feel. We especially like the rugged black surface and that it has the form factor of an actual dog tag,” expressed Dregen, Backyard Babies’ lead guitarist.

The Backyard Babies Edition Neonode N2 phone sports a 2.0-inch color screen that is capable of delivering 176×220 pixels, 2.0 megapixel fixed focus camera to take still images, video playback that supports MPEG and WMV file formats, and a MP3 player with MP3, WMA and Wav files compatibility.

Based on Neno user interface, the GSM quad band-enabled phone includes GPRS connectivity, up to 32 GB MiniSD card, Calendar and Address book synchronized by using ActiveSync, FTP profiles-compliant OBEX, and headset with stereo sound, mono loudspeaker and vibration engine.

Measuring 47 x 77 x 14.7mm (WxHxT) and weighing 60g, the Neonode N2 also supports various T9 languages.

The Backyard Babies Limited Edition Neonode N2 phone is available through the company’s online shop for $353/€250/£200 (approx. Rs. 16,798).
