iPhone-look-alike Meizu M8 Phone to Reach India and China in December?




The Taiwan-based distributor Meizu had introduced its M8 aka MiniOne mobile phone during mid-2008. Now, there are rumors circulating on the web stating that the iPhone-look-alike phone will hit the Indian markets by December after its launch in China.

Apparently, Geek IT will operate the phone’s retail operations in India. The much-anticipated Meizu handset is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 22,000 for the 8 GB model.

In terms of specs and features, the M8 sports a 3 megapixel camera, 3.2-inch touch screen LCD, media player, an in-built FM radio, EDGE support and Bluetooth. It also supports AVI, MPEG4 and WMV files.

Other features of the phone include Windows CE, DMB Tuner to connect TV or projector, video output and GPS.
