A few months back, we had reported about the Nyko Media Hub for PS3. Now, Nyko has announced the release of device in North America.
Supporting all PS3 models, the Nyko Media Hub + empowers the PS3 with its three USB ports and multi-card reader slot that supports SD card and memory sticks.
Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing at Nyko Technologies, mentioned, “The 40GB model is the best-selling version of the PS3 console in North America but it sacrifices several USB ports and the media card reader. We saw the Media Hub+ as an opportunity to provide users of this model with an option to expand their console’s multimedia capabilities with the additional USB ports and media card reader, all at an affordable price.”
The main attribute of the Media Hub+ is that it eliminates the need of tools or internal modifications and gets installed instantly. It is capable of using power directly from the PS3. Moreover, it has the ability to effortlessly attach various other peripherals such as flash drives, PSP, MP3 players and additional controllers to the available USB port.
The Nyko Media Hub+ for PS3 can be purchased for $19.99 (approx. Rs. 970).
