Dell launches its new ultra-small, stylish and environment friendly consumer PC, the Studio Hybrid. This new PC sports a unique shape and can be personalized with its bamboo finish options or six external jewel-toned colors.
“The design and craftsmanship of the Studio Hybrid alone are enough to cause you to do a double take,” Michael Tatelman, vice president, global consumer sales and marketing. “Combine that with the performance of this little beauty and its environmentally smart DNA, and you’ve got something truly unique – something that you can make your own.”
The Studio Hybrid desktop is almost the size of a collegiate dictionary and complements your decor with its contemporary look. It can be set up horizontally or vertically, you can also personalize it with seven optional interchangeable external finishes like bamboo, emerald, quartz, ruby, sapphire, slate and topaz.
The Studio Hybrid desktop is apt for day-to-day activities like editing and uploading videos and digital photo albums, creating mash-ups and content for personal web pages. Connect to HDTVs through a standard HDMI port. You can opt for various optional features like Wi-Fi networking, wireless keyboard and mouse, Blu-Ray Disc drive and TV tuner.
“Our goal was to design a desktop that fits in the office or in the living room, or anywhere space is at a premium,” said Michael Scheschuk, desktop product marketing. “We’ve created a desktop PC category that combines style, performance and a high degree of energy efficiency.”
The Dell Studio Hybrid is not only 80 percent smaller than the typical the traditional desktops but also uses about 70 percent less energy comparatively. It is also Energy Star 4.0 compliant.
The Dell Studio Hybrid desktop is priced at $499 (approx Rs. 21,242). It is available at the Dell website.
