Soundmatters introduces its new high-performance all-one-surround speaker/amplifier/processor console called SLIMstage40. It offers a 5.1 surround experience without ambiguous a/v receivers and unsightly speakers.
Measuring 3.3” (H) x 3.4” (D) x 39” (W), SLIMstage40 features 170 watts from eight internal amplifiers, 3.5” tall, 5.1 signals without reflecting walls and articulate bass. It equips the EuphonyHD virtual surround technology, producing a well-developed virtual 5.1-channel virtual surround soundstage and a clear center channel image. The EuphonyHD effortlessly reproduces Dolby Digital and DTS imaging.
Comments Marketing VP Lee Adams, “Most single-cabinet surround systems typically require reflective walls to optimize a sonic image, but with SLIMstage, we’ve effectively removed this barrier by incorporating patented surround and speaker technologies that don’t rely on walls or subwoofers to produce a pinpoint surround-sound image. And our patented technologies have allowed us to develop a super-slim cabinet which unlike others has bass, and nearly disappears on furniture or under a flat-panel TV.”
The Soundmatters SLIMstage40 also packs in 13 speaker driver array which includes three analog inputs, three digital audio inputs and virtual surround headphone output jack. It comes with a high-contrast LED backlit panel display, an IR remote, RS-232 port, front panel controls and a wall bracket.
The SLIMstage40 is available at a retail price of $899 (approx Rs. 38,333). Incase you opt for a SLIMstage40 with SUBstage100 subwoofer than it will cost you $1199 (approx Rs. 51,125).
